Well, I guess I never did end up getting back into the blogosphere. I am currently taking a New Testament class in order to finish up my online Business degree through Brigham Young University-Idaho.
I have always loved learning about the scriptures and the impact that it has had on my life. My favorite personal reading is The Book of Mormon, but I have always had a special love of The New Testament. It was the first set of scripture that I studied in seminary. My teacher was so knowledgeable and you could feel his love so easily that you couldn't help but love learning about it as well.
This last week we read the first couple of chapters in the four gospels. I am a little more tender at the moment when it comes to those scriptures since we just celebrated Christmas a couple of weeks ago. Another special note is that since I had Halle I have been far more sensitive than I ever could have imagined. When spiritual moments crop up or I hear of other children not being loved I become overwhelmingly emotional.
It has been nice to sit and reflect on the birth of Christ once again and renew my love for the New Testament. As the semester moves forward I will continue to post my feelings and what I have learned on our blog to have a permanent record that I can look back and reflect on those things.
