Romans 3:23-In the past, I have never related how the
multitudes were fed by Jesus and how the atonement were alike until this New
Testament lesson. When the crowd was
gathered and the people were hungry the disciples suggested Jesus turn them
away to go buy themselves food. Instead
of doing as suggested he blessed the food and was able to feed everyone in
attendance. Like Romans 3:23 describes
none of us are perfect on our own. We
have all committed sins and are therefore like the multitude who, left on their
own, are in need of assistance from God.
Gratefully, we have scriptures including Ether 12:27 that teach us that
if we come unto Christ and do His will and not our own that we will be
strengthened by grace.
