Blogging Repentance

Well, it's been nearly a year since my last post; which considering that I thought my 'hiatus' was past the year mark, I am quite proud of myself for being so prompt. wink. wink.

You may be thinking what have the Munks been doing over the last year?  Well, to be perfectly honest we have just been happy spending time together and relaxing out here in the country.  During our year of bliss our computer died and took along with it all of our pictures and clips that I wanted to post about.

Since I tend to be a LITTLE on the obsessive compulsive side I have not wanted to post events out of date.  All I really need to do is get a jump drive to transfer the memory from the dead computer to the new one-which has actually made it to my list of things to do this week!

However, I have made a crazy decision that may or may not tip my OCD world upside down.  I am going to begin posting  without the pictures and clips from our old computer.  Once I have actually made the transfer I will then add them to our blog out of chronological order!  This is a giant step leap in overcoming my blogging block.

I don't know about all the other bloggers out there, but I have a love/hate relationship with blogging.  I like it for using it as my journal, keeping family and friends updated, and reminiscing about the past-both good and bad.  However I dislike putting myself out there as an open book because others will see my spelling and grammatical errors, my imperfect parenting, and other such moments.

What I realized is that the benefits outweigh the negatives and regardless of the fact that you will see our good days and our bad alike, I hope you will choose to love us all the more for it.  Enjoy!!!
