In reviewing Mark chapter 13 there are several events to
watch for in order to better prepare for the coming of Christ. A few include false prophets, false
accusations from neighbors, physical beatings, and being brought before rulers
and kings for Christ’s sake.
There are additional truths taught to us about how to
prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
We are commanded to stand in holy places which means that we should be
mindful of where we go and what we do.
We need to treasure up the words of the gospel, so that we may not be deceived. No man knows when the Second Coming will
happen and we need to always be vigilant and following the commandments so that
when the time comes we will be ready and not taken by surprise.
