Devra went home the night before Thanksgiving to spend the holiday with her boys back in Utah. Meanwhile we went to the Thornock's for an amazing Thanksgiving feast. Christie is a ridiculously good cook and so I always say 'yes' when she invites us over for dinner;P They had adopted several other families that didn't have anywhere to go for the day and they ended up with 9 people in their little apartment.
That weekend we were supposed to get together with all of Jason's siblings before Dave left on his mission so we headed down to Provo to stay with Jon and Jess. They are always so amazing to let us stay there and they are great hosts! Plans ended up falling through, but we all made the best of it and went to dinner at one of Jessica's favorite places: The Spaghetti Factory. It was really good and of course I got some spicy dish.
Saturday morning I heard Max crying and when I went to get him out of bed I noticed that he had gotten sick all over himself. I didn't mind a bit cleaning him up and then taking him out to play. Well, when Monday which was month end at work (meaning a 12 hr shift that ends at midnight) came along I was feeling shaky and nauseated. I kept having this internal battle of: is it the pregnancy I found out about last week? or is it what Max had? After having thrown up twice for the first time since I was a little girl I decided to go home. I called Jessica and she had gotten the bug as well. Somehow Jon and Jason never got it-lucky boys.
I am glad that we got that weekend to hang out with them and hear Jon and Jase reminisce about when they were younger. Thanks for letting us stay with you guys once again.
