Mack's Inn Getaway

At Mack's Inn theater eating dinner. *Sorry, these first two pictures are out of order. I am still working this whole process out.

At the end of July my sister Joscelyne and her husband Derrek joined us for a floating trip down the river and a night's stay at Mack's Inn up in Island Park, Id. It seriously was one of the best weekends I have ever had.

First, we floated the river and then headed up to the Inn's rustic theater where they served us a yummy dinner of Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, and corn. They then topped it off with a cookie and Ice cream.

The play they put on was a spoof on 'Les Miserables' which just happens to be one of Jason's favorite books (for me the movie-I haven't had a chance to read the book yet). They did a great job keeping us laughing throughout the entire 1 1/2 hours.

This is our room at Mack's Inn. Yes; the wall really is bowed in with the wall paper peeling back. We were also lucky enough to house many mosquitoes when they decided to come in at will through our inviting 1in. crack in the door frame.
